Last night i had an amazing foodie experience in Pune. I travelled with a couple of friends to the heart of Pune, APTE Road in Deccan area. We visited a restaurant called Shreyas Hotel (synonymous with restaurant.. they also have lodging btw)
The food was divine. Authentic maharashtrian thali with amti, kadi, chappatis, bhakri (with and without ghee), Khichdi, two varieties of vegetables( ones which i couldnt name properly), Pithla and buttermilk. Sweet was optional and we opted for it. I went for Amrakhand and a friend went in for Chocolate Basundi. The total bill for three adults came to Rs. 430 which is a steal considering the quality and quantity of food involved. A must dine experience.
